We are proud to announce that the President of EarthCareFoundation recently represented our organization — and Tanzania — at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP) held in Bonn, Germany. This key global gathering brought together climate leaders, environmental advocates, scientists, and decision-makers from across the world to drive forward urgent solutions to the climate crisis.
As a grassroots environmental NGO, EarthCareFoundation works directly with farmers, youth, and marginalized communities in Tanzania who are already experiencing the harsh realities of climate change. Our President’s presence at the COP meeting was an opportunity to:
“We must ensure that climate justice includes voices from the frontline — our farmers, youth, and local leaders who face the daily impacts of climate change,” said our President during one of the side events on Community-Led Adaptation in Africa.
