Global Voices for Local Action in the Fight Against Climate Change

Bonn, Germany – June 2025

We are proud to announce that the President of EarthCareFoundation recently represented our organization — and Tanzania — at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP) held in Bonn, Germany. This key global gathering brought together climate leaders, environmental advocates, scientists, and decision-makers from across the world to drive forward urgent solutions to the climate crisis.

🌿 A Voice for Tanzania at the Global Stage

As a grassroots environmental NGO, EarthCareFoundation works directly with farmers, youth, and marginalized communities in Tanzania who are already experiencing the harsh realities of climate change. Our President’s presence at the COP meeting was an opportunity to:

• Share community-based climate solutions from rural Tanzania
• Highlight the role of local NGOs in advancing climate resilience
• Call for increased global funding and technical support for developing countries
• Promote renewable energy, reforestation, and sustainable agriculture projects led by EarthCareFoundation

“We must ensure that climate justice includes voices from the frontline — our farmers, youth, and local leaders who face the daily impacts of climate change,” said our President during one of the side events on Community-Led Adaptation in Africa.

🤝 Partnerships for Progress

During the conference, EarthCareFoundation engaged with multiple international partners and potential donors interested in supporting our initiatives. Discussions focused on:

• Scaling solar energy projects in rural schools and health centers
• Expanding tree planting and ecosystem restoration efforts
• Investing in youth-led climate innovation in Tanzania
