Why it matters: Tanzania is losing thousands of hectares of forest every year due to agriculture, charcoal burning, and infrastructure development. This accelerates climate change, depletes biodiversity, and worsens drought and soil erosion.
📣Climate Action & Advocacy Raising Voices. Demanding Change. Young people are the most affected by climate change—but they’re also the most powerful voices in the fight against it.
📚 Education & Awareness Spreading Knowledge. Sparking Action. The foundation of any change is awareness. That’s why education is at the heart of everything we do. In many Tanzanian communities, young people grow up without access to reliable information about environmental issues—or the tools to take action. We’re here to change that.
At Earth Care Foundation, we believe that real climate resilience begins at the grassroots. Our Community Engagement initiatives focus on involving local people in meaningful dialogue, decision-making, and action for environmental sustainability.
Millions of people across Tanzania, especially in rural areas, still lack reliable access to electricity. This limits opportunities for education, healthcare, business, and agricultural productivity. Fossil fuels and deforestation for firewood continue to damage our environment and health.
At EarthCareFoundation, we believe that true environmental sustainability must go hand-in-hand with economic empowerment. That’s why one of our core missions is to promote sustainable livelihoods — helping communities in Tanzania earn a decent living while preserving natural resources for future generations.
At EarthCare Foundation, our work is driven by a simple but powerful vision: to create healthier, more resilient communities. This program is a reflection of our unwavering commitment to sustainable impact and human dignity. Thank you to all our partners, supporters, and community champions. Together, we’re building a future that works for everyone. Sustaine Lusanze Chief Executive Officer EarthCare Foundation
